Understanding the Names of Allah - 'Abd Al-Razzâq Al-Badr - al-Hadith

The mission of the believer on this earth is to worship his Creator. This worship can only be realized if he knows his Lord. Now, Allah makes Himself known to us through His revelation which informs us, among other things, of the names and attributes of the Master of the Universe.

The divine names constitute the path of the spiritual journey of Muslims because they allow them to better understand divine transcendence and thus, to devote the most perfect worship. Understanding the names of Allah is to know Him better and thus, to worship Him better. It is therefore understanding in order to then apply in our daily lives, in our worship, and especially in our spiritual journey which has no other purpose than the knowledge of our Creator.
